Travis Braden began his racing career at the young age of eight years old. After finding early success in the Legend Cars Series along with a Young Lions National Championship, Braden turned his racing focus to full body stock cars. Soon after making the transition over to full-size vehicles, Travis was able to win his first state championship in the Whelen All-American Series.
“Travis Braden is one of those unique individuals who performed exceptionally well as a student at West Virginia University in Engineering. But, also, as a student leader and then as an individual who brought great distinction to our university and to our state through his great success in automobile racing. It is highly unusual to have someone with such talent be so devoted to his craft and also to his state and university.”
